My neighbors son got a hold of some furniture polish and got it on the tv screen. 
What can be used to remove the grime/smear of furniture polish?

Dawn dishwashing liquid removes oil and grease – dilute in water like washing dishes and wash the screen with a wet soft cloth, then dry with another soft cloth.
Edit – if the screen is plastic, don’t use Windex, the ammonia will scratch, if it is glass then you should be okay -my suggestion will work for either
